Devised by Smirnoff's John G. Martin and Cock 'n Bull owner Jack Morgan (with bartender Wes Price often credited as the actual mixer) to move stagnant inventory of vodka and house-made ginger beer.

Spicy ginger, sharp lime, and crisp vodka — best in a copper mug.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 4 oz Ginger Beer
- ½ oz fresh Lime juice
Instructions
- Fill a copper mug (or tall glass) with ice.
- Add vodka and lime juice.
- Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
Tips
- Use a quality ginger beer with real ginger for the best kick.
- A copper mug isn't required but keeps the drink extra cold.
